Its my hubbys birthday on Monday 12th November. Now he is telling me, not to worry getting him a gift because we are saving to buy furniture and things for our new house. But I think I can still get him something to surprise him. Im also thinking of getting his dad to get a room at Crown Casino Hotel for us on the weekend. He is a Mahogony Room Member so he gets rooms for free. (well, paid for by the points he gets when he gambles, so technically he has paid for it!)

And I have booked dinner at Rockpool on the friday night. But all I could get was 9pm. Always packed, but this will be the first time we try it and I cant wait, I will have to take pics of the meals. Check out the website to see what Im on about:

So Im not going to tell Pat about this, he will be nicely surprised, because Im going to secretly pack his clothes and put them in the boot of his car before he gets home from work that Friday. And then I will drive, and he wont know whats going on when we rock up to the hotel valet.


Here is a pic of what the front of our house will look like. Except our garage door wont be ugly like that - thats all we could choose! Pat built the house from the plans onto a 3D programme, so we could see exactly how big rooms would be and if any changes were needed, it came in really handy because we have changed HEAPS. The panel that is light grey with 3 slot windows is actually made from Alucabond, which is aluminium panels.

Heres the back view. We are going to have a 7x4 metre pool in the courtyard. There is a 7metre long bifold door that opens onto this area. The upstairs balcony is going to be decked and have an outdoor table/chairs for eating out when nights are warm and balmy.

Can not bloody wait!!! So far the house is at lock up stage, electricians, plumbers and outside renderers are all working on it at the moment.
